Looking ahead, a dramatic change is on the horizon for Acclaim as its original site in Purfleet, Essex, is set to be demolished to make way for brand-new headquarters.“ Our new headquarters will enable us to expand and move to the next level,” Sam explains.“ This site was our base, and the place from which a lot of our company-wide cultural values emanate, so we’ re keen to retain its roots while enabling future expansion.”
Despite tough market conditions, Sam is optimistic about the year ahead.“ Everyone I’ ve spoken to in the industry has found the last few years quite difficult with economic downturn and delays in government decisions,” he shares.“ As we sit centrally within the entire supply chain, a decline in consumer confidence has an immediate effect on our business. Fortunately, 2025 was a good year for us, primarily due to a couple of larger deals coming to fruition, and things are continuing to pick up this year.”
