We can then leverage this data in any technology we choose to deploy, which enables us to gain insights and intelligence, as well as run simulations, to understand where our vulnerabilities lie and to predict potential future disruptions.
“ We have a responsibility to ensure our suppliers have the best information, tools, and insights to meet our needs, and we build tools specifically for our suppliers. Later this year, we’ re launching an important module as part of our procurement technology platform, PROcure, which will enable greater interaction between us and our suppliers. This new module will not only allow suppliers to look up information like quotations to understand where they are in the process but will also drive a standard business process across Caterpillar globally. It’ s one of the biggest platforms we’ ve ever launched in procurement, so we’ re very excited to see the impact it has on our
