As part of its dedication to environmentally friendly practices , Christie ’ s has made significant changes across its operations . “ We launched a successful sea-freight program with Crozier , shifting shipments that would traditionally travel by air to the far more carbon-friendly sea-freight option . With the added time for sea freight , it isn ’ t viable for all transits , though it is promising and marks broader adoption across the industry for alternatives to air travel . Beyond transit , packaging is also an important area to scrutinize .
